Troubleshoot systems to identify and correct deficiencies. Program control systems to maximize water efficiency. Detailed reporting of daily activities. Interface with clients and co-workers when needed. Good communication skills and 1-3 years of experience is appreciated.Must have valid Driver's License and be able to be insured by our agent.Pay Rate: $20 to $22 DOEROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIESManage the installation of new drip and sprinkler systemsSet and maintain times on controllers; troubleshoot all aspects of irrigation system to include electrical and mechanical.Map systems for master plansComplete repairs as necessary, may instruct others in irrigation repairsOperate trenchers and rock saws to install/repair linesOperate the vehicle safely over an assigned route/to the destinationFollow all company safety, security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries: complete safety training and certificationsComply with quality assurance expectations and standardsEnsure uniform, company vehicle and personal appearance are clean and professionalOther duties as assignedPHYSICAL DEMANDS(all required to be done for up to 10 hours or more a day):While performing the essential duties of the job, the position requires physical abilities such as heavy lifting, pushing and pulling of up to 50 pounds, manual dexterity, wrist-finger movement, digging using a shovel. In addition, working conditions include inadequate lighting, restricted movement, dirty environment, air contamination, extreme temperatures, intense noise, or lifting or carrying heavy objects.
