[REPORTS TO: Department AR Shift Coach [M Shift 7:00 am - 5:00 pm E Shift 5:00 pm - 3:00 am [Monday - Thursday

  1. Must have a good understanding of the following skills or be pursuing them through formal inside or outside education.

PRIMARY DUTIES

The primary duties of the employee are (but are not limited to) the following:

  1. Operate 2 assemblers simultaneously producing an acceptable innerspring mattress meeting or exceeding the minimum acceptable level of output.
  2. Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformity related to product, process and the system.
  3. Conduct Quality checks to identify and record any problems relating to the product, process, and the quality system.
  4. Initiate, recommend, or provide suggestions to improve the product or process.
  5. Identify and control nonconforming product until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected.

  • Understand and comply with all safety rules.
  • Understand and comply with all OSHA regulations and programs.
  • Report all accidents, no matter how minor, immediately.
  • Report any unsafe conditions in the work area.
  • Report any unsafe acts.
  • Always wear proper PPE.
  • Keep work area clean and free of any hazards.

Perform all quality checks and document the results.

Must be able to use and read a tape measure.

Identify non-conforming products and or raw materials.
