The Lead Tutor position is designed for any tutor within the Learning Support department who is in good standing with Weber State Univeristy,and has met all the requirements to become a Master Tutor. The Lead Tutor will collaborate closely with the coordinator to implement initiatives in the Learning Center. The Lead Tutor will be required to assist with the following:Participate in tutor training orientation with new tutorsDevelop tutor training modules in conjunction with tutoring coordinatorsPlan and help facilitate staff meetingsMentor,observe,and evaluate new and returning tutorsLead a small cohort of new tutorsParticipate in lead tutor meetingsAssist in hiring events to recruit new tutorsTutor studentsOther duties as assigned
