Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in the hospitality industry, located in Orlando, Florida. This role involves a focus on invoice processing and invoice reconciliations, utilizing peoplesoft for accounting duties. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in Accounts Payable, Invoice reconciliation, Invoice Processing, and Data Entry.

Responsibilities:

• Processing invoices and conducting invoice reconciliations

• Utilizing Peoplesoft to perform accounting duties

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records

• Ensuring that all financial data is recorded and processed accurately

• Addressing and resolving any issues or discrepancies with invoices

• Continually improving and streamlining the accounts payable process

• Ensuring compliance with all financial regulations and procedures

• Communicating with internal and external stakeholders regarding account statuses and discrepancies

• Assisting in the preparation of financial reports

• Performing other related duties as required. Requirements • Proficiency in managing Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience with Invoice Processing and reconciliation

• Strong Data Entry skills, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail

• Knowledge of general accounting principles and practices

• Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment

• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

• Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation

• Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is desirable

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field would be an advantage.
