Job Summary

Summary: As a Front Office Manager, you will manage the duties and responsibilities of the front office associates to ensure customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include hiring and managing employee relations for the front office and reservations staff, overseeing the daily operation of services for the account/operation, handling all guest complaints, and following up to ensure accuracy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manages the daily operation of the front office, coordinating with other departments as required to manage guest satisfaction.

  • Manages day-to-day operation of the front office by ensuring staffing, service and financial standards are met.

  • Ensures the day-to-day operation of the front office meets AAA 5-Diamond standards at all times including appearance standards.

  • Attends management meetings and those that relate to the front office.

  • Handles guest compliments, complaints and concerns in an appropriate fashion to ensure guest satisfaction and fiscal responsibility.

  • Prepares staffing schedules, training, and maintains department payroll reports, vacations, holidays, sick leave, and absence records.

  • Assists with interviewing candidates, conducts performance reviews, and manages performance as required.

  • Controls stock inventory levels, monitors workstations for cleanliness and organization at the front office and in the back office areas.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience working in a hotel, hospitality, or corporate environment.

  • Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet.

  • Associate’s degree is preferred.
