Job Overview: This position is responsible for the overall operations of all radiology services within the hospital and/or ambulatory environments including Diagnostic Radiology, CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, and Ultrasound. It is the responsibility of this position to ensure that these services meet customers' needs while continuously striving to improve the quality of services provided. This individual facilitates the accomplishment of this goal by providing the necessary environment, staffing, and supplies. The manager oversees hiring and firing and administrative oversight of team members. The manager is responsible for providing a safe work environment for patients, visitors and team. This is achieved by adherence to corporate policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with JCAHO, ACR, OSHA, HIPAA and State of Ohio regulations and guidelines. The manager works with the radiologists/physicians to provide services and care. The manager prepares and adheres to operating budgets; submits for capital equipment purchases; plans facility modifications; evaluates services; measures performance utilizing principles of continuous quality improvement; and develops staffing plans for all areas of responsibility. The manager also works in conjunction with Corporate Sales and Marketing on a comprehensive sales and marketing plan to ensure consistent understanding of marketing data, trends and relationships influencing outpatient volumes. This position reports directly to the System Director of Imaging Services and has an indirect reporting relationship with the site President/COO at the respected hospitals. Job Requirements: Associate's Degree in Allied Health fom an approved school of Radiologic Technology, MRI, Ultrasound, or Nuclear Medicine American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Registered with Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Passed certification for CVIT Boards RMDS or CNMT acceptable in lieu of ARRT certification Modality specific registered., Radiologic Technologist, Nuclear Medicine Technologist, Ultrasonographer, Unrestricted license from ODH, RMDS, or CNMT Knowledge of Radiologic Technology or Imaging Services, Modality specific knowledge, Radiation Safety Training, Electronic Medical Record, PACS 3-4 years experience Progressive Leadership Healthcare In a multidisciplinary department 3-4 years experience Clinical Healthcare Imaging specific clinical and professional experience Job Responsibilities: Demonstrates the ability to lead work groups to provide quality service.
