Job Summary

  1. Cost Analysis and Reporting:

  2. Analyze manufacturing costs and variances to ensure accuracy and identify opportunities for cost reduction.

  3. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual cost reports for management review.

  4. Collaborate with production and procurement teams to assess cost implications of production processes and material procurement.

  5. Inventory Management:

  6. Monitor inventory levels and reconcile discrepancies between physical counts and inventory records.

  7. Perform regular inventory valuation and analysis to optimize inventory levels and minimize carrying costs.

  8. Coordinate with production and supply chain teams to ensure accurate recording of inventory transactions.

  9. Financial Reporting:

  10. Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP.

  11. Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses.

  12. Conduct variance analysis and provide insights into financial performance.

  13. Compliance and Controls:

  14. Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

  15. Assist in internal and external audits, providing documentation and explanations as needed.

  16. Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.

  17. Process Improvement:

  18. Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and enhance efficiency.

  19. Recommend and implement process improvements to optimize workflow and increase productivity.

  20. Payroll:

  21. Process payroll accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

  22. Maintain payroll records and resolve any payroll-related issues or discrepancies.

  23. Daily Accounting Tasks:

  24. Perform daily accounting activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank statement reconciliation.

  25. Generate and process invoices accurately and timely.

  26. Balance accounts on the balance sheet, including bank statements reconciliation.

Additional Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel internationally to visit the parent company in Denmark.

  • Valid passport for international travel.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting, preferably within the manufacturing industry.

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, cost analysis, and inventory management.

  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay Details: $55.00 to $70.00 per year
