Aerotek is seeking the role of a qualified CNC Set-up Machinist for our client around the Poughkeepsie, NY area! This spot is of urgent need and only 1 spot available!

Description:

Top 4 Must Haves are:

• CNC set up/operation experience

• 3 and 4 axis milling (5 axis is a plus!)

• Ability to work with extremely tight tolerances

• Working knowledge of interpreting blueprints and GD&T

• Operate and setup of Milling machines

• Interpret blueprints and shop layouts per company specs

• Utilize inspection tools to perform minor quality checks (calipers, micrometers, gages, etc.)

• Document results

• Working with 10ths of an inch with GD&T metrics so very tight tolerances
