TEKsystems Security Installation Technician (CCTV & Access Control) in Raleigh, North Carolina

In the ever-evolving era of technology, the role of CCTV Installation Technicians is more critical than ever before! Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain CCTV cameras and access control panels at client sites.

  • Conduct site surveys to determine optimal camera placement and access control system requirements.

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues related to security systems.

  • Program access control settings based on customer needs.

  • Provide technical support to clients regarding system usage and maintenance.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with CCTV equipment.

  • Inspect and test CCTV systems and peripheral equipment to ensure proper functioning.

  • Provide technical support and training to end-users.

  • Ensure all work is performed to company standards and protocols.

  • Prepare service reports detailing all work performed and any follow-up actions needed.

  • Stay updated on new products, services, and policies.

  • Conduct site surveys to determine the optimal placement of CCTV equipment.

  • Coordinate with the team on large projects.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Hands-on experience in installing and maintaining CCTV and/or access control systems.

  • Certifications: (Preferred)

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in IP camera installation and configuration.

  • Knowledge of access control hardware and software.

  • Familiarity with low-voltage cabling and wiring.

  • Attention to Detail: Ability to ensure accurate installation and alignment of security equipment.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
