Machine Operator

PeopleReady of Richmond, IN is now hiring Machine Operators! As a Machine Operator, you would work on one (or several) machines in order to optimize production. Operators will make sure that the machines are working safely and effectively as well as conduct maintenance checks on them throughout the shift.

Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $14.00 - $16.50 / hour

What you'll be doing as a Machine Operator:

• Setting up and operating machines needed to build products based on blueprints, work orders, and supervisor's instructions

• Inspecting products for defects and machines for malfunctions

• Installing, aligning, and locking specified punches, cutting blades, or other fixtures using computers to program product dimensions

• Displaying your analytical skills and a problem solver's mentality

Available shifts:

Shift Timings: 1st Shift (Day), 2nd Shift (Evening), 3rd Shift (Night)

Job requirements:

• Manufacturing production machinery experience preferred

• Knowledge of basic math skills

• Ability to multitask, show flexibility, and have great attention to detail

• Must be able to stand on feet for entire shift

• Must be able to lift max of 50 lbs. repeatedly

• Background check and drug screen are required
