The Position

The Vermont Country Store is currently seekinga part time Maintenancepersonto join our retail teamat ourRockingham storelocation.The qualified candidate will beresponsible, self-motivated, and team oriented to help maintain and repair the grounds and buildings in a safe and orderly fashion to provide an experience for our customers that exceeds their expectations.

A Sampling of What Youll Do

• Interior and exterior painting
• Carpentry such as building displays for merchandise
• Small construction projects and finish work
• Light housekeeping support
• Be alert for possible safety and fire hazards, notifying management and contractors

Who Were Looking For

• Someone who displays a positive attitude and works well with others
• A preference for being able to work both in and outdoors
• Someone who has experience or interest in a variety of areas of construction andfinish-work that may include carpentry/framing, painting and plumbing?
• A self-starter who works well independently and without direct supervision
