Playland Park Recruitment and Onboarding Specialist in Rye, New York

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment:

Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop job descriptions. Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and professional networks. Conduct initial screenings of candidates, including reviewing resumes and conducting phone interviews. Coordinate and schedule interviews with candidates and hiring teams. Assist in the preparation and extension of job offers to selected candidates. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate information and the recruitment process. Onboarding:

Coordinate the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization are within guidelines of HQ Prepare and distribute new hire orientation materials and resources. Schedule and conduct new employee orientations and training sessions. Serve as a point of contact for new hires, addressing their questions and concerns during the onboarding process. Ensure that all required documentation, including I-9 forms and benefit enrollment forms, are completed accurately and on time. Collaborate with various departments to facilitate department-specific onboarding activities. Gather feedback from new employees to continually improve the onboarding process. Responsible for communicating proper documentation on discrepancies to office & management team regarding employee accountabilities. Remains knowledgeable of and manages in accordance with all applicable local, state and federal laws. Perform other tasks as deemed necessary.

Job Requirements

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to articulate to our partner, General Manager and HQ personnel. Developed leadership skills with an understanding of the importance of team building/development, while fostering partnerships. Exceptional problem solving/decision making skills that are combined with the ability to be organized. Demonstrates the ability to remain flexible in a fast-paced environment. Computer and/or inventory system knowledge. Ability to read, count, and write to accurately complete all documentation and daily paperwork. Ability to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends and holidays, as needed.

Previous Experience

Two years administrative and/or experience preferred. All education backgrounds accepted.

Compensation and Benefits
