Northside Auto Group SERVICE LOANER REPRESENTATIVE in San Antonio, Texas

Description/Job Summary

Provides exceptional customer service in order to manage the dealerships fleet of loaner vehicles.

Responsibilities/Duties

  • Ensure loaners are staged on service drive and ready for early morning appointments

  • Create loaner agreements and verifying all documents needed from customers are accurate.

  • Reviewing loaner contract with customers, doing a walk around with customer to access any preexisting damage on vehicle, review fuel levels and charges and making sure all documentation is signed properly.

  • Checking in vehicles and inspecting for any new damage, securing mileage, and reviewing any charges with customer. Making sure that loaner agreement is closed properly

  • Maintaining fleet by making sure that you know the status of all loaner cars. Making sure that vehicles are clean properly, have current registration, proper fuel levels, and parked in the appropriate spot

  • Processing insurance claims, working with customer, insurance companies, and collision center to ensure that vehicle is repaired in a timely manner.

  • Prepare status reports for Service Managers on a daily basis

  • Reviewing loaner statuses and predicting vehicles return for next day appointments

  • Assist when needed in other departments (Service Drive, Barista, Boutique)

  • Completes other duties as assigned.

  • Maintains professional appearance.

Required Skills

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals on an adding machine. Ability to compute percentage rates and commissions on an adding machine.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to pay close attention to detail when conducting all essential duties.

Required Experience

6 months related experience

Required Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Required Qualifications

Valid Driver License
