As an Accounts Receivable Specialist for our convenience store chain, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of customer and processor payments. You'll be responsible for maintaining positive relationships with our valued customers and card processors while safeguarding our company's financial health. Key Responsibilities: Imagine yourself as the guardian of our accounts receivable process, ensuring that payments are processed accurately and efficiently. Picture yourself communicating with customers, resolving inquiries, and building positive relationships. Envision yourself collaborating with internal teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, your responsibilities include:

• Processing customer payments accurately and in a timely manner, adhering to established procedures.

• Reconciling accounts receivable ledger to ensure accuracy and completeness.

• Investigating and resolving discrepancies or issues related to payments.

• Communicating with customers to address inquiries, provide assistance, and resolve outstanding balances.

• Collaborating with internal teams, including store managers and operational leaders, to address customer concerns and improve processes.

• Assisting with month-end closing activities and providing support for audits as needed.

  Qualifications: Are you the right fit for this role? Here's what we're looking for:

• 1+ years of experience in accounts receivable or related financial role, preferably in the retail or consumer goods industry, but willing to train the right candidate.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and internal stakeholders.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
