Material Handler - JR2413151

DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: As a Material Handler, you will handle and maintain the flow of materials and products in manufacturing areas according to established guidelines. You will operate motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment. You will report to an Operations Planning Manager and work onsite in Springdale, PA.

Main Responsibilities: * Uses fork truck to move drums/totes/pallets of chemicals * Pours samples of chemicals to distribute to labs. * Preassembles chemical for use in production batches, verifying quantities and shelf life. * Unloads tank wagons of chemicals * Unloads inbound raw materials. * Labels and puts them away. * Miscellaneous tasks as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications: * Attention to detail * Ability to safely operate material handling equipment (fork truck/pallet jack/etc.) * Able and willing to wear a respirator and other PPE * Basic computer operation skills * Be able to complete outdoor work in all weather * Ability to works as a team and be able to work unsupervised, with personal accountability and reliability

Preferred: * Previous fork truck experience * Previous shipping experience * ERP experience * DOT certification/or willingness to get it. * Interest in advancing in a shipping/receiving role
