About the role:

The Manufacturing Engineer / VESL is responsible for driving continuous Improvements in our production department in Sterling, VA. If you are passionate about helping our production team to implement improvements, then this job is for you. This position is part of the Operations department and will be located onsite each day in Sterling, VA to support our production team.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

  • You deliver sustainable continuous improvement manufacturing processes

  • You evaluate new manufacturing technologies, manufacturing processes and manufacturing methods as well as assess their feasibility and, if necessary, integration into the existing infrastructure

  • You are the point of contact for R&D in the evaluation of new product developments with regard to execution

  • You are responsible for driving the day-to-day implementation and improvement of VES (Veralto Enterprise System) processes and tools across the site

The successful candidate will work side-by-side with the management staff to discover inefficiencies in manufacturing processes and then determine the best ways to implement our VES methods on the shop floor.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related discipline required

  • 3+ years in mechanical or business process engineering; ideally industrial or mechanical experience in a manufacturing company required

  • Demonstrated strength ininfluencing both internal and external members to achieve positive business results; prior leadership experience an asset

  • Proven ability to champion Kaizen / continuous improvement methodologies and mentality

  • Proven experience troubleshooting PCBA designs required
