Position: Facility and Grounds Maintenance Worker

Direct Hire- FULL-TIME position with BENEFITS

Location: Northern Frederick County - Thurmont, MD

Salary: $20-$22 per hour

Our client is currently seeking a dedicated Facility and Grounds Maintenance Worker to join their team. This job is at a beautiful property with a park-like setting.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on buildings, facilities, and equipment outside and inside various buildings.

• Conduct inspections to identify and address and maintenance issues promptly.

• Complete carpentry tasks such as constructing, repairing, and installing structures as needed.

• Handle plumbing tasks including repairing leaks, installing fixtures, and maintaining water systems.

• Perform electrical work such as wiring, repairing lighting fixtures, and troubleshooting electrical systems.

• Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the premises by conducting regular cleaning and maintenance of grounds.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent time management and organizational abilities.

• Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations.
