The Opportunity

This position works out of our Tipp City, OH location in the Abbott Nutrition division. Our Nutrition business develops science-based nutrition products for people of all ages, from helping babies and children grow to keeping adult bodies strong and active. What You'll Work On

• Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of thequality system

• Via use of Cambarradio frequencyinventory system, the employee stores, picks or assembles finished product for shipment

• Understands and properly utilizesship ordersand associatedwarehousepaperworkand RF terminalsfor shipping/receiving finished product

• Maintains proper FIFOflowof finished products (may include operation of a forklift truck with a push-pull attachment)

• Stores, picks or assembles raw materials in thewarehouse, verifying the commodity number, quantity, release status and lot number

• Checks materials againstpackaginglists, invoices, freight bills or other pertinentdocumentationto assure conformity and accuracy

• Delivers materials toproductionlines in a timelymanner, maintainsproper FIFOflowof raw materials and utilizes knowledge of both raw materials and finishedproduct nomenclature

• Cleans up both raw material and finished goodswarehouseareas

• Stages labels in mobile security carts forproductionlines

• Understands and completeslabel controlportion of work order

• Maintainsaccurate recordsand reconcilesinventory errors

Pay and Shift

The hourly pay for this position is $20.00/hour . Hours for this role Saturday and Sunday 6:00 am - 6:30pm and Wednesday and Thursday 7:00 am - 3:30pm.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED

• Must have experience with sit down forklifts

• Must be able to lift and maneuver objects of considerable weight (50 lbs.)

Preferred Qualifications

• Completion of technical college computeroperationscourses

• Knowledge of applicableregulatory standardsand requirements for infant formula and nutritionals

• Ability to make decisionsbased on awareness of areaoperations

• Ability to deal with people under high pressure and in a constantlychanging environment

• Good written/verbal communication skills,interpersonal skillsandanalyticaltroubleshootingskills
