SUMMARY

The WDTC Data Sciences Division (DSD) is responsible for providing Information System (IS) services and Information Technology (IT) services to WDTC Divisions and Department of Defense (DOD) customers. DSD Systems Architecture Branch is comprised of Cybersecurity team, System Administration team, Network Administration team, Operational Support team and Software Development team. All contractor IT staff are part of DOD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF). This contract is to provide IS Services; to configure IT in accordance with (IAW) Department of Defense (DOD) Secure Recommendation Guides (SRGs) and Secure Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs). Operate IAW DOD, US Army and WDTC Security Policies and Plans. Document IAW DOD, US Army and WDTC Configuration Control Board (CCB) requirements. Test, troubleshoot and maintain IS operations for DPG/WDTC. Monitor IS and IT implementation, configuration, and cybersecurity requirements. Primary place of performance is Dugway Proving Groun d, UT. IS and IT services may also be required for DPG alternate locations in SLC and along the Wasatch Front.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

GSLC

Must have Microsoft Excel experience.

Must be able to pass a customer background check for access to facilities, equipment and property. This Homeland Security Investigation requires U.S. Citizenship.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Essential Duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Utilizes a Government provided tracking database to account for equipment turned into and issued from the Help Desk. Performs asset management activities (i.e. Supply duties) in the management of hardware and software life cycles, including all activities related to asset management associated with hardware and software purchases. The following duties are also included:

Manages IT purchases and IT Bulk Buys.

Gathers requirements from WDTC divisions, CORs, and the WDTC Command Group for IT equipment requests and submit requirements to WDTC-CIO for review/approval.

Completes all related purchase documents for approved items in accordance with (IAW) local procedures.

Submit package of purchase documents to the Government for acquisition. Submits a spreadsheet summarizing the overall purchase to the CIO and COR within four (4) duty days of package submittal.

Distribute equipment IAW local procedures.

Maintains property accountability throughout the issue/replacement/re-issue process.

Prior to turn-in or destruction of hard drives, verifies the requesting individual is authorized to perform this request and that they are the owner of the hard drive. Completion of proper destruction documentation is required.

Performs property management function to include preparing Department of the Army (DA) 3161s for transfers.

Performs annual and semi-annual 100% inventory of items on the hand receipt of the CIO and include results in a status report to the CIO and COR. The report may be in Contractor format and shall be sent via email within four (4) duty days of the end of the month in which the inventory was due. At any one time there are approximately 1000-1500 hand-receipt items.

Conducts a monthly random sampling consisting of 10% of items on the hand receipt of the CIO and include results in a status report to the CIO and COR. The report may be in Contractor format and shall be sent via email within 4 duty days of the end of the month in which the inventory was due.

Performs annual inventory o f items on CIO durable property items responsible list and include results in a status report to the CIO and COR. The report may be in Contractor format and shall be sent via email within 4 du y days of the end of the month in which the inventory was due.

Performs monthly sensitive items inventory and include results in a status report to the CIO and COR. The report may be in Contractor format and shall be sent via email within 4 duty days of the end of the month in which the inventory was due. The Government estimates approximately 20-30 items.

Receives, routes for processing and/or configuration, issue, transfer, receive and turn-in hand receipt items and durable property.

Completes documents associated with receipt, issue, transfer, turn-in, destruction, loss, theft and inventory, and submit documents to CIO for review and/or signature. Route, store and/or upload documents following CIO signatures.

Provide technical guidance and assistance on new equipment purchases.

Plans daily activities within the guidelines of company policy, job description and supervisor's instruction in such a way as to maximize personal output.

Responsible for aiding in own self-development by being available and receptive to all training made available by the company.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and a minimum of one (1) year relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education/experience.

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
