Our client, a major electric utility company, is seeking a Project Cost Analyst to join their team. The ideal candidate will have good communication, planning and time management skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Project Cost Analyst

Location: Tulsa (hybrid)

Pay Range: Up to $39/hr

Duration: 12 month contract (potential to extend/convert)

Schedule: Possible OT and Overnight Travel.

What’s the Job?

• Coordinates and supports Project Managers, overseeing the cost reporting for multiple projects, monitoring project budgets to ensure accurate depiction of project costs

• Inputting budgets into corporate systems, providing ongoing forecasting updates and variance analysis, inputting/tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), and working collaboratively with project teams throughout project lifecycle

• Providing consistent communication and developing internal/external partnerships.

• Conducting training, providing support, process improvements efforts, and directly interfacing with external contractors/vendors, integrating these parties into overall project budget/schedules.

What’s Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Construction Management, or Project Management, or related field plus 1 year qualified experience. Associate's degree, 3 years' qualified experience

• Experience should be in planning, cost tracking analysis, forecasting, project budgets, working with accounting principles, project management is a plus if experience is heavy in finance.

• Advanced Excel skills and financial analytical work history

• Financial backgrounds. Budgeting, Accounting and Forecasting skill sets.
