Summary:

Responsible for maintenance, diagnosing and repair of various diesel equipment.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Diagnosing and repairing of gas and diesel engines
  • Diagnosing and repairing of mechanical and hydraulic transmission systems
  • Diagnosing and repairing of electrical and fuel systems
  • Use of diagnostic software and moderate computer usage
  • Equipment regularly includes commercial mowers, compact utility tractors, snowplows, and construction equipment

Qualifications and Competencies:

  • 5 years of experience working on diesel engines with advanced diagnostics
  • Ability to work independently with light supervision in an efficient manner
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and follow written and verbal instructions
  • Careful attention to detail with a commitment to quality work
  • Basic math skills are required.
  • Experience working on Exmark, Kubota, Bobcats is a plus
  • Preferred experience working on zero turn lawn mowers, compact tractors, diesel engines, or compact loaders.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is frequently required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk and reach with hands and arms; occasionally climb or balance; stoop, crouch or kneel. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
