Idaho National Laboratory is hiring a Facility Project Architect to work in our Facility Design and Project Engineering department. Our team works a Hybrid, 9x80 schedule located out of our Idaho Falls facility with every other Friday off.

Responsibilities Include:

• Provides creative design solutions for new facilities and facility modifications at the INL.

• Utilize their technical expertise to assist development of projects from the initial conceptual stage to the final stages of construction.

• Works with multi-discipline design teams to accomplish a given project design.

• Presents design proposals, prepare drawings, specifications, design budgets, construction documents, and manage project teams as assigned by engineering management.

• Assist in the development technical reports, feasibility studies, and planning documents.

• Lead project teams and produce complete architectural designs in support of assigned projects.

• Review project submittals, vendor information and interface with facility and construction personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's of Science Degree in Architecture, accredited by the National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB) or Architectural Engineering plus 5-8 years of relevant experience, or a Master's of Science Degree in Architecture, accredited by the National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB) or Architectural Engineering plus 3-6 years of relevant experience.

• Professional Architectural License and/or Professional Engineering License preferred or the ability to obtain licensure 2 years from hire.
