Overview

ConGobal, the go-to expert for multimodal, industrial terminal operations, is seeking to fill multiple program management roles, at varying levels, within its technical product development group.

As a Program manager, you will drive cross-functional programs, Strategize, implement, and maintain program initiatives that adhere to organizational objectives. Develop program assessment protocols for evaluation and improvement. This requires partnering with engineering management to facilitate all aspects of projects: Define, schedule, prioritize, track, proactively manage and communicate status of projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, marketing, and sales to ensure innovative products that meet customer needs and drive business growth are delivered in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will have a strong blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership skills. We are looking for people with a passion and track record for producing complex new technology. This is a hands on role where you will manage programs through the software development lifecycle from concept to delivery. You should demonstrate high integrity, high energy and feel comfortable in a dynamic environment. As an experienced change leader navigating uncharted technology advancements you will need to build strong collaborative relationships and calmly manage any associated conflicts along the way. You will be responsible for successful outcomes and delivery with laser focus on execution with a keen eye for important details.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Alignment: Ensure that all projects under the purview align with the organization’s strategic goals and programs stay on course per expectation. With the rapid pace of change, keep organizations agile and aligned with the strategic goals. Ensure that every project within a program contributes to the overall strategy.

  • Strategic Planning: Define the overarching program vision, goals, and roadmap. Develop the business case to justify and gain sponsorship for the program. Create a program management plan covering scope, schedule, resources, risks and governance. Determine interdependencies between projects and sequence workstreams logically

  • Monitoring Progress: Define program scopes, schedule, resource allocation. Develop a mechanism via project plan as a roadmap, detailing the timelines and resources needed. Throughout the lifecycle, monitor progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the program remains on track. Utilize various tools and metrics to track performance and make necessary adjustments. Establishing key milestones and goals; Developing timelines; Assessing the interdependencies between projects, identifying opportunities for improvement

  • Risk Management/ Analyzing Program Risks : Identify potential roadblocks and find ways to mitigate risks. Proactively help solve problems and keep the program on track. Strong intuition to anticipate and mitigate potential issues, develop contingency plans and ensures smooth project execution. Fosters open communication across teams cross-functionally within the organization to identify cross-team development dependencies and expose risks early and often

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to define product requirements, prioritize features, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality products. Facilitate communication and alignment between different teams to drive towards common objectives. Mentor team members on agile software development principles and practices. Creating an environment of trust where it is safe to challenge, experiment and fail without fear. Advocating in adopting agile best practices and processes. Acting as a Change Agent for Agile transformations

  • Stakeholder Management: Articulate the program plan, communicate progress, and results to key stakeholders internally and externally including executive level management. Build consensus around program decisions and advocate for resources and support as needed. Act as a program evangelist to build awareness and understanding. This includes preparing status reports, conducting meetings, and being the point of contact for any inquiries related to the program.

  • Governance: Define program governance framework including steering committee meetings, status reporting, change control processes etc. Continuously monitor project health, interdependencies, resource allocation and risk mitigation activities. Provide consolidated reporting and analysis on schedule, budget, scope performance. Lead program change control and incorporate alterations from project

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.

  • Proven track record of success in program management roles or a similar capacity.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable product plans.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams.

  • Strategic thinker with a customer-centric mindset and a passion for building products that make a meaningful impact.

  • Experience working in agile environments and familiarity with tools such as JIRA or Clickup, Confluence, and Product board.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment and adapt to changing priorities and business needs.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence change across cross-functional teams.
