About the Role

As a Tolling Solution Architect, you will lead the overall solutioning for tolling deals. You will be a part of the Transportation Proposal Development Center and provide technical leadership to scope and define the solution for tolling sales opportunities. You will define the solution, help with costing activities, identify and work with subcontractors, and help with technical writing sections of the proposal. You will also participate in orals presentations to prospective clients as part of a structured procurement process.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full lifecycle of a toll systems sales opportunity solution. The solution architect may participate in meetings with clients as part of the Pre-RFP process; lead the solution development process as part of the RFP response phase; participate in any presentations to the client as part of the BAFO and presentation phase.

  • Managing the overall solution.

  • Identify and work with subcontractors as part of the overall solution during the RFP response phase.

  • Approving concept designs, allocating resources, and delivering project schedules to ensure flawless execution

  • Managing resources and internal and external cross-functional teams to communicate and set priorities to meet goals and objectives

  • Preparing, developing, and managing budgets (P&L) by ensuring accurate maintenance of master budget and schedules

  • Documenting throughout project-life-cycle and preparing regular status reports for Senior Management to check project milestones

  • Building and developing relationships with key stakeholders, ITS, Contractors, Telecom, Facility, and Property Managers to provide leadership and guidance

  • Collaborating with technical teams and resources to identify and resolve technical, operational, and organizational problems

  • Tasks as needed to be assigned by Conduent management

Requirements

  • Must have solid experience in solutioning large roadside tolling or transportation financial back office systems.

  • Must have five (5) years of experience in the toll collection industry

  • Demonstrate experience in managing, internal and external cross-functional teams and resources for large-scale projects

  • Be able to create, adapt and execute sales solution strategy

  • Have great problem-solving skills and the ability to create and implement innovative solutions in a fast-moving environment

  • Have excellent communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with our teams, customers and stakeholders

  • Have great IT skills and be familiar and comfortable with a range of software and applications
