This position is open to remote candidates.

We have a unique position open for a Director of Cybersecurity. This is a critical role where you will interface and coordinate with the DoD to monitor, respond and assist with reported cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and intrusions on various robotics/autonomy software products.  You have the opportunity to support the cybersecurity team as well as drive company growth and win cybersecurity programs.

As off-road autonomous vehicles become deployed by the U.S. Military and commercial parties, a growing need for cyber support of these systems. In this role you will be pioneering this new focus area for Neya.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop a cybersecurity business development practice responsible for building key relationships.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity strategies that align with our company's objectives and the specific needs of autonomous vehicle technologies.

  • Collaborate with the cybersecurity team in identifying, evaluating, and mitigating risks to our systems and data.

  • Collaborate with the R&D and engineering teams to integrate security measures into the design and development phases of our products.

  • Collaborate with the business development team to ensure cybersecurity capabilities are a strong selling point for our products and services.

  • Monitor the latest trends and technologies in cybersecurity and autonomous vehicles to maintain a proactive approach to threats.

  • Establish and maintain relationships with external cybersecurity agencies, vendors, and partners to enhance our security posture.

  • Provide strategic leadership and guidance on all cybersecurity matters to the executive team.

  • Analyze and define information security technology requirements for network, infrastructure, database, and web application systems

  • Development of risk mitigation programs, action plans and costs required during assessments and audits

  • Design, develop and recommend integrated security solutions

  • Understand methodologies and best practices commonly used in the systems security industry

  • Recommend courses of action and policies to leadership to securely meet organizational goals.

    What You’ll Need:

  • B.S. or M.S., Cybersecurity or equivalent in industry experience

  • 8-10 years of relevant industry experience

  • Secret Security Clearance

  • Must have Certification and Accreditation Professional (CAP), or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

  • 5+ years of experience preparing and maintaining information security assessments and authorization documentation

  • Experience with DIACAP and NISPOM

  • Extensive knowledge of key cybersecurity frameworks i.e., MiTRE, NIST, CIS, ISO/IEC 27001

  • In-depth experience with Zero Trust architecture, IT/OT, STIX/TAXI, and cyber best practices

  • Demonstrated ability in leading and managing technical programs and developing solutions to complex problems

  • Experience working with and leading diverse teams as both a leader and contributor

  • Working experience with SELinux, Docker, C++, Python, TLS/SSH. IPSEC, Cisco IOS

  • Travel required
