Use hand-welding, flame-cutting, hand-soldering, or brazing equipment to weld or join metal components or to fill holes, indentations, or seams of fabricated metal products.

The position of the Welder is, but not limited to the following:

• Preheat and finish weld components per drawing specifications.
• Repairs broken or cracked metal parts, filling holes, and building up surfaces to be machined to dimensions per drawing.
• Familiarity with pre-heating requirements for certain types of welding.
• Document, sign and date Weld Inspection Monitor sheet for parts being welded that require the maintaining of interpass temperatures
