Enterprise Architect (hybrid)

The continually evolving technology landscape along with the overall complexity of the healthcare environment and Tandigm's aggressive growth targets require a well thought out, aggressive, and responsive technology architecture and plan.  We are seeking a seasoned Enterprise Architect with a visionary mindset to spearhead our architectural initiatives. In this pivotal role, you will drive our technology strategies to align seamlessly with our ambitious business objectives.  Your deep understanding of enterprise systems, cutting-edge technologies, and business strategies and methodologies will be instrumental in designing and implementing scalable and resilient architectures to enable our business goals. 

 

Essential Functions

  • Define and maintain the enterprise architecture vision, principles, frameworks, and roadmaps for the organization.
  • Establish and oversee the enterprise architecture governance process, policies, and standards, and ensure compliance and alignment across the IT portfolio.
  • Conduct architecture reviews and assessments and provide recommendations and best practices for improving the architecture quality, alignment, performance, and scalability.
  • Facilitate and promote the communication and collaboration between the enterprise architecture team and other IT and business stakeholders and foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in healthcare IT and enterprise architecture, and make recommendations for their adoption as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with business leaders and IT stakeholders to develop and maintain an enterprise architecture roadmap that aligns with business goals and enables future growth.
  • Lead efforts to integrate new and existing systems and technologies, ensuring seamless interoperability and data exchange across the enterprise.
  • Identify and mitigate architectural risks and dependencies, proactively addressing potential issues to minimize business impact.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts and solutions to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Consistently exhibits behavior and communication skills that demonstrate Tandigm Health's commitment to superior customer service, including quality, care and concern with each and every internal and external customer. 
  • Uses, protects, and discloses Tandigm's patients' protected health information (PHI) only in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards and protects Tandigm assets from unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, destruction or interference. 
  • Adheres to and responsible to abide by all information security policies, processes, and/or activities. 
  • Reports security events or potential events or other security risks to the organization to management. 
  • Performs additional duties as assigned. 

Required Qualifications:

Minimum

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science or any similar combination of education and experience.
  • 5 years of experience with architecture and strategy development in healthcare or life science organizations.
  • 10 years of experience developing and delivering technology solutions into organizations.
  • Proven experience implementing enterprise architecture governance, framework, and roadmaps.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks, such as TOGAF or Zachman, and experience applying them in healthcare environments.
  • Strong interpersonal and c mmunication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of designing and delivering complex and large-scale enterprise architecture solutions, across multiple domains, platforms, and technologies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with different levels of stakeholders, both technical and non-technical.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to balance the trade-offs between business and technical requirements, and to drive the architecture decisions and outcomes.
  • Highly motivated, self-directed, and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
