Berry Global in Winchester, Va is looking to add Packers to our 2nd Shift (M-F 3 PM to 11 PM). The base pay is $15/hour plus a shift differential.

Responsibilities

This position is responsible for inspecting and packing finished product into boxes according to customer specifications, keeping machine areas clean and free of hazards, and conducting other production duties as needed including other housekeeping tasks, and preparing the production area for the oncoming shifts.

Qualifications

The perfect candidate for this role will:

• Be dependable and have an exceptional attendance record in all previous roles

• Have strong verbal and written abilities to communicate with the shift leads and to complete production paperwork

• Pay attention to small details to ensure that no defective products make it to the box (and therefore to the customer)

• Keep work area clean and free from any safety hazards

• Have a team-oriented work ethic

• Be comfortable in a food-safe environment and comfortable with having to wear PPE that includes hair nets, bump caps, safety glasses, earplugs, and other PPE as needed
